Mango Poli

This mouth-watering Konkani snack is made up of Alphonso mangoes from the Konkan coast. It is known as "Aambyache Saath/ Aamba Poli" in the Marathi language. Aamba poli comes with a sweet, sour, and tangy taste.

Ingredients:

  • Mango pulp

  • Sugar (Adjust to taste)

  • Ghee

Procedure:

  • Take round dishes or rectangular dishes.

  • Take a mango pulp, taste it, and add sugar according to the taste.

  • Mix it well till the sugar dissolves.

  • Apply a light ghee layer on the plates

  • Spread the pulp evenly on the plates.

  • Cover the plates with a thin cloth or plastic or butter paper.

  • Let them dry in the sun.

  • After they dry, separate them from the dishes and store them in air-sealed packets or jars.
